Style File

Style File is just a chance to check out what your favorite bombshells are rocking for the month. Throw your two cents in and say if you like their looks or not.

Rihanna was spotted in London last week arriving at Amika wearing this curve hugging, cleavage showing criss-cross dress paired with a pair of black pumps and fishnet stockings. I think she's teetering on the fine line of sexy and trashy...hmm, I'm undecided. The color looks wonderful on her though. I will say that.

Earlier this month, the beautiful Tia Mowry was at the HELP Group's Annual Teddy Bear Ball. She looks absolutely lovely in this white, strapless, belted dress paired with a simple black clutch and a pair of strappy gold sandals. I love her simple accessories, the gold bangles and the drop earrings. I wouldn't have went with those shoes but...she still seems to pull it off. Her hair and makeup are most definitely on point as well.

Alicia Keys performed at Z-100's Jingle Jam very recently, and she was sporting the comfortable, laid back look. A colorful twist on rockstar chic. Miss Keys is wearing a green leather jacket, purple tank, a pair of fitted black jeans and a pair of metallic gold peep toe pumps. I have no idea how Alicia pulled this off because if I wore a green leather jacket and a purple tank...it would not be pretty. I love her use of colors here though, that jacket is very cute and she pulls it all together with the metallic shoes. I love it!

Who Is This Woman?

Well, it's supposed to be Janet Jackson. This is a new promo shot for her up and coming album "Discipline". Now don't get me wrong, this is a great picture, and Janet is beautiful. This simply does NOT look like her, even when I tilted my head to the side. I actually thought it was Christina Milian for a hot second. Never the less, I'm still anticipating her newest release. Get 'em Miss Jackson!

Oh No Honey: Khia

I will now need some form of eye surgery thanks to Khia. I don't know what to harp on first, the fact that this chick is rocking a red, white, and blue crocheted get up that looks like it came from the craft fair down the street...or...the lets-all-take-a-picture-at-the-club weed and Hypnotiq backdrop...I mean really! I'm going to personally call the government on her ass for this mockery of the flag. I'm just...I'm going to have a breakdown if I look at this foolishness any longer. Please, your two cents is needed.

Bombshell Look: Beyonce

Beyonce and Jay-z recently celebrated his birthday (Dec. 4th) in the beautiful city of Paris. While there, they hit up the Chanel store and Beyonce looked simple and classy in this dress from Chanel. I appreciate how Bee is all covered, and yet still feminine and sexy while remaining elegant. Absolute perfection. Check out my picks for this chic look...

The In Crowd: Leather Jackets

You'll be hard pressed to find a celeb not rocking a leather jacket this cold winter season. Since rockstar chic is in right now, that means leather jackets are a shoe in for the in crowd's taste. The more popular cut of leather jacket seems to be the all famous bomber. Probably for its cropped style, but you can deviate from the path and try a leather trench coat or maybe a quilted jacket like the one below that I've picked out.

1. Mike & Chris Grant Lambskin Jacket; pinkmascara.com, $902.00
2. Leather and Wool Bomber; bebe.com, $149.00

Check out this clutch from Roberto Cavalli. I don't know why, but I'm feeling this a lot. It's a good look for the holidays.

"Multi-colored printed satin clutch with a gold jewel embellished serpent coiled around bag. Roberto Cavalli clutch has a flap opening with a magnetic stud fastening, bronze metallic leather panels on each end and a detachable gold chain link strap."

It can be yours too, for a mere $1,075.00 check out net-a-porter.com to take a look.
