Oh No Honey: Alicia Keys

What in the animal print hell, possessed Alicia Keys to walk on somebody's red carpet looking like this?! This is not cute, not in the least honey. Miss Keys decided to rock this 80's inspired Cheetah Girl dress by Just Cavalli, to the New York screening of The Nanny Diaries. Why, is the question that I'm sure we all want answered. And are those fishnet stockings I see? Girl please...

Nine West does jeans...

And they do them with style too! If you go to ninewest.com, you can select your fit. Choose from Madison, Broadway, Bleecker and Bond. Also, remember ladies, that the skinny jean is not the only jean. Try switching it up with a nice trouser jean, like the Madison cut from Nine West. These jeans also come in sizes up to 16, so Miss Full Figure, go grab some! Miss Petite they have as small as a size 2 for you, and Miss Curvy can work just about anything in between.

(Nine West Madison Fit)

(Nine West Broadway Fit)
As we can very well see on these models, the new Nine West jeans aren't exactly cut for women with much hips, thighs and booty, so you may want to try these on to see how they fit on your particular body type. I must say, I'm loving those Bleecker jeans, very nice.
Well, until next time!

Light Shopping Trip

Yesterday I had a much needed, impromptu shopping trip to the mall where I got an outfit from Torrid inspired by Rihanna, a "dookie rope" chain, a very strange pillow that I couldn't pass up, and a bottle of Glow by Midnight by J. Lo (Are we really still calling her that?). Then I hit up my beloved Target where I got some Rimmel lip gloss, trail mix, oil blotting sheets, and a four pack of Starbucks vanilla frappuccino. I felt much better after hitting the mall...and of course Target. Who says shopping isn't therapeutic?

Oh and can you please note the magazine game? You have to get the newest issue of Complex, the double cover with Kanye West and Cassie (is she still relevant?) I love Kanye's style. Say what you will. For you uber fashionistas, the fall fashion issue of W will be right up your alley. If you haven't been paying much attention to the presidential hopefuls, then please do pick up Vibe's newest issue with Sen. Barack Obama on the cover. Get to know our [possible] next president. Oh, and please believe I'll be doing some interning if he's elected. Miss Michelle Obama...watch your back.
