Style File
Style File is just a chance to check out what your favorite bombshells are rocking for the month. Throw your two cents in and say if you like their looks or not.
Rihanna was spotted in London last week arriving at Amika wearing this curve hugging, cleavage showing criss-cross dress paired with a pair of black pumps and fishnet stockings. I think she's teetering on the fine line of sexy and trashy...hmm, I'm undecided. The color looks wonderful on her though. I will say that.
Earlier this month, the beautiful Tia Mowry was at the HELP Group's Annual Teddy Bear Ball. She looks absolutely lovely in this white, strapless, belted dress paired with a simple black clutch and a pair of strappy gold sandals. I love her simple accessories, the gold bangles and the drop earrings. I wouldn't have went with those shoes but...she still seems to pull it off. Her hair and makeup are most definitely on point as well.
Alicia Keys performed at Z-100's Jingle Jam very recently, and she was sporting the comfortable, laid back look. A colorful twist on rockstar chic. Miss Keys is wearing a green leather jacket, purple tank, a pair of fitted black jeans and a pair of metallic gold peep toe pumps. I have no idea how Alicia pulled this off because if I wore a green leather jacket and a purple tank...it would not be pretty. I love her use of colors here though, that jacket is very cute and she pulls it all together with the metallic shoes. I love it!

Who Is This Woman?
Well, it's supposed to be Janet Jackson. This is a new promo shot for her up and coming album "Discipline". Now don't get me wrong, this is a great picture, and Janet is beautiful. This simply does NOT look like her, even when I tilted my head to the side. I actually thought it was Christina Milian for a hot second. Never the less, I'm still anticipating her newest release. Get 'em Miss Jackson!
Oh No Honey: Khia
I will now need some form of eye surgery thanks to Khia. I don't know what to harp on first, the fact that this chick is rocking a red, white, and blue crocheted get up that looks like it came from the craft fair down the street...or...the lets-all-take-a-picture-at-the-club weed and Hypnotiq backdrop...I mean really! I'm going to personally call the government on her ass for this mockery of the flag. I'm just...I'm going to have a breakdown if I look at this foolishness any longer. Please, your two cents is needed.
Bombshell Look: Beyonce
Beyonce and Jay-z recently celebrated his birthday (Dec. 4th) in the beautiful city of Paris. While there, they hit up the Chanel store and Beyonce looked simple and classy in this dress from Chanel. I appreciate how Bee is all covered, and yet still feminine and sexy while remaining elegant. Absolute perfection. Check out my picks for this chic look...

The In Crowd: Leather Jackets
You'll be hard pressed to find a celeb not rocking a leather jacket this cold winter season. Since rockstar chic is in right now, that means leather jackets are a shoe in for the in crowd's taste. The more popular cut of leather jacket seems to be the all famous bomber. Probably for its cropped style, but you can deviate from the path and try a leather trench coat or maybe a quilted jacket like the one below that I've picked out.
1. Mike & Chris Grant Lambskin Jacket; pinkmascara.com, $902.00
2. Leather and Wool Bomber; bebe.com, $149.00

Oh No Honey: Keyshia Cole
What in the leggings and knit/lace hell is this child wearing? I don't know what her stylist was thinking, or if her stylist was thinking at all! This is not a flattering outfit on Miss Cole at all. There is nothing about it that I'm feeling, so feel free to point out your own issues with this catastrophe of an ensemble.
My computer is still acting crazy, and blogger isn't helping. It took me nearly an hour just to post this! Yall pray for this computer...and blogger.

Did You Guess Right?
The two ladies were Julissa (former 106 and park host) and Lil Mama! Now, I'm gonna have to go ahead and give Lil Mama an "Oh no honey" for that outfit, but Julissa looked nice rocking a fashionable plaid swing coat. Now, my computer is on the fritz right now so I may not get to do a full post today...but bear with me.

Tis The Season For Boots!
Winter time is upon us ladies, and if you're in a cold spot like me, then it's time to break out those cute boots...or go buy more. Boots are an excellent staple to any outfit, they can be casual or chic, depending on their style. I love the fact that flat boots are definitely in this season. While some may not like them, I love the versatility they give a pair of jeans in the cold weather. Here are some of my personal picks...
Canvas Logo Shield Boots by Gucci; bluefly.com, $716.00
Crucial Booties; intermixonline.com, $179.00
Airwalk Pine Boot; payless.com, $32.99
Sandy Low Shaft Boots by Isaac Mizrahi; target.com, $36.99
Smokin' Boot by Steve Madden; macys.com, $269.00
Fendi Patent Leather Boot; eluxury.com, $1,150.00
Have fun pairing your tall boots with skinny jeans, and your booties with a skirt of maybe some wide-leg slacks. The possibilities are really up to you!

Best Dressed
The American Music Awards went down last night and these three ladies topped my best dressed list. Ashanti looked radiant in her soft yellow strapless dress, Beyonce was another showstopper in a very lovely gold, mermaid cut gown, while Miss Keys sparkled in her black shimmering dress with the plunging neckline. Bravo ladies! You all looked beautiful!

I'm Back!
I know I've been gone for a while, mostly because I've been really sick, but I'm much better. I went over my sister's house in Virginia and she has no Internet so I've been without for a while, and I've been missing my blog terribly. But now I'm back and there will be no more skimping on the fashionable posts. So give me a day to whip up a fresh post and I'll be back with a vengeance!

Checking In
Hey bombshells! I haven't forgotten about you, I've just been very sick lately...it's been horrible so I won't let you in on the details. Luckily I'm doing much better now, and I can get back to my regular posting. This week though, I'm going to be in a place that has no Internet connection, so you're going to have to bear with me...again. I'm so sorry! I promise to be fully back though very soon!

Halle's Blue Dress
Well Miss Berry better work it out! The pregnant actress wore this daring blue number at the London premiere of Things We Lost In The Fire. I personally love this dress on Halle, and I love how she still loves her body while being pregnant, and she's still very fashionable.
What do you ladies think of Halle Berry's red carpet dress?

Fashionable Shoes For Large Feet
I've known about Friedman's Shoes for a while now, maybe five years or so. Now I'd like to share this knowledge with those of you who don't know. Ladies, if you're very tall and as a result have large feet, or if you just happen to be one of many women with large feet (like me), then you're tired of the slim pickings in shoe stores. I'm always so mad when my friend can find a pair of fly shoes in a size 8 and when I check my size the shoes don't exist. Well, Friedman's has a wide variety of beautiful shoes especially for extended sizes. The shoes are actually very fashionable and I've drooled over quite a few pair myself. Please check them out if you're having a shoe dilemma because of your shoe size. I promise you, you'll be pleased, they go up to size 13 in ladies!

Oh No Honey...
I don't even know where to start on Kym Whitley's outfit for the 5th annual Hoodie awards. Should I start with the horrid white space boots? The coat? Or the dress? Hmm... so many choices. This look is just not flattering at all on Miss Whitley, and I happen to think she's a very pretty woman. She just made the wrong wardrobe decision, definitely.

I love the beanie hat in this seasons hottest color. Love the necklace, her makeup is flawless...I just don't know what I think about this outfit! So I'll let you ladies decide,
Oh no, honey or Oh yes, honey?
